 Located on two and one-half acres just off K-10 at Woodland in Johnson County, Kansas, LA-Audio is truly a magical place for the creation and production of music. The only facility in the Kansas City area built from the ground up to be a recording studio, LA-Audio was constructed with 2x6 staggered-stud framing without nails--all wood screws. The floors are 8" thick, rubber floated and all the rooms are physically separated. The space itself is room-within-a-room with a 4" airspace surrounding. The control room, a modified Studio Ba'Ton design, is one of the most accurate sounding mix rooms in the mid-west.
